PHILADELPHIA – August 7, 2017 –Direct Choice, Inc., a leading Mid-Atlantic full-service marketing and advertising agency, announced today that industry veteran Scott Morrison has joined the company as president of its Customer Experience (CX) division.
Morrison will lead the agency’s new CX division, which will focus on helping clients improve and increase positive customer experiences through CX data-driven communications. He brings to the role more than 25 years of experience developing and implementing highly profitable multi-channel CRM programs.
“While CX isn’t a new concept, the tools and technologies for capturing and classifying customer feedback have evolved dramatically over the last two years – something many businesses are still struggling to fully leverage,” said Morrison. “Direct Choice’s CX improvement processes and tools will help clients better identify and transform their CX data assets into highly personalized communications that enhance customer experiences across all touchpoints.”
Before joining the agency, Morrison served as executive vice president for Fulcrum Analytics, a longstanding partner of Direct Choice for over 20 years. Earlier in his career, he also worked with Direct Choice President and CEO, Nick Lanzi, at Devon Direct Marketing, the second largest independent direct marketing agency in the U.S. before it was purchased by Euro RSCG.
“Having worked with Scott for many years, time and again he has demonstrated an unmatched ability to use data to improve a brand’s customer experiences, and subsequently, its profitability,” said Lanzi. “His leadership of our CX division undoubtedly will allow Direct Choice to deliver an even greater level of sophistication and impact for our clients.”
Morrison also served as executive vice president at Yankelovich Partners (now The Futures Company), a leading market research firm; senior vice president at the Martin Agency, a top creative advertising agency; and vice president of marketing at Delaware Trust where he started his career.
Morrison received his MBA from Widener University and his bachelor’s degree in marketing & advertising from the University of Miami. He lives with his wife, Cindy, and three daughters in Richmond, Virginia.
