“Reach for the Sky” was the theme for the Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association’s Benny Awards honoring our region’s best of direct marketing. Most in attendance would agree that we accepted that challenge and then some, after accepting three “Benny” awards, including BEST IN SHOW…
1. Agency/Supplier Self-Promotion Award: Ugly Sweater Holiday Promotion
2. Integrated Media Campaign, B-to-C Award (lead generation or retention): Highmark 2018 Individual Renewal “Be Ready”
3. BEST IN SHOW for our Ugly Sweater Holiday Promotion. Apparently, the judges appreciated our multi-channel approach to generating good cheer among our clients while raising money for one of DCI’s favorite local charities, For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation.
Other than categories for “Creative Only”, the PDMA Benny Awards are judged based on a triumvirate of strategy, creative and results.
To say the least, we had a spectacular time at the awards show. It’s one of the few opportunities each year where we get to celebrate our team’s stellar work while enjoying the company of our fellow direct marketers.
